2nd Shipping/Health update

I apologize if this seems like an unprofessional or impersonal way to do this, but I can't think of a better way to get this info out.

I want to thank you all, for your words of advice and concern. I had started to feel a little better on Monday, but I spoke too soon.
I am taking the rest of today off, and going to bed.
I will see how I feel in the morning. I have a few hours tomorrow that I can work on shipping if I am feeling ok, and Friday is out because I have a wedding party coming in at 7 am for up-do's and I am also supposed to be attending the wedding. So there is a possibility that shipping won't resume again until Saturday. I am sorry.
I have the most amazing employee ever, who will be able to keep picking orders for me, so that when I can get back into shipping, I will be all set to go.

I have received many emails of support and I realize that people are kind and understanding when it comes to things like this that are out of my control. So, I am posting this not because I think that people are going to be angry, but just as an update, so you know where I am at with it, and that I have taken your advice, and I am going to get some rest. I am realizing that if I don't take care of this now, I may end up even worse off.

I expect to awaken renewed and refreshed, and ready to dive back into what I love doing- which is making polish, and sharing it with people that love it.

Forever grateful,
♥Pam♥

Shipping update

Just a quick post, to update you on shipping etc. I had posted an update on facebook, but I realize not everyone has facebook.

Shipping has resumed today. I have been out of commission with a nasty chest infection, and shipping was originally delayed because of combining orders and refunding shipping overages. This unfortunately affected all orders, not only the ones that needed adjustments. One bunch went out this morning, and an entire slew of them have been packed and are just awaiting shipping labels.

Thank you for your understanding.

Calendar Girls Part 2 - May to August

Calendar Girls Collection
by Girly Bits

The first part of the Calendar Girls Collection was released in February 2012, with the first four shades in the year long series. The concept is, that the full collection will have a colour that represents each month of the year. It will be released in 3 sets, with the third set available in August/September, completing the collection. July has three colours- one representing Canada Day ( July 1st), one representing Independence Day ( July 4th), and one representing Bastille Day (July 14th)

I have moved my sales over to Big Cartel, and I think this will make for easier ordering and processing.
I have posted the new shades in the store for preview, and I plan on restocking tomorrow, Wednesday May 02 at 12:00 noon EST.
Tomorrow will  be a relatively small restock, to test out the new ordering system. I will have another small re-stock on Saturday, May 5th in the evening to accommodate other time zones as well.

I am sure some of you are aware of the lack of base right now. Once that issue is resolved, I should be able to restock on a more regular basis, in larger numbers.

You can check out the new store HERE.

I have yet to add shipping, as I am still working on that, but the rates will be similar to previous sales, except it will be more of a flat rate based on destination.

Here are a few shots of the newest colours, but please head over to the new store to check out the entire collection, as well as some new products- Glitter, spectraflair, and coming soon- a franken starter kit.

Cheers!!

Indie Polish Makers

Good day!! Hopefully the sun is shining where ever you are!!

A few shout outs to two bloggers who first compiled this list.
I borrowed the list and added to it. I invite you to do the same.

  and

There is a storm in the Indie polish world right now, and gathering links in one place, means more pretties for all of us. I am slowly adding to my indie collection, and I treasure each and every one of them. In fact, I just painted a shelf to display them all. I will post pics when it is up.

On to the list. This is just a list of Indies that I know of. I am not endorsing them, nor have a tried most of them yet. If you know of some that are not on this list, please let me know and I will add them.

Thank you to Things I love at the moment for letting me use her pic above.

Whew!! Your wallet will not thank me. =)
In other news, I am in the process of setting up a new web site/store which will make ordering easier.
I will keep you updated as to when it will be stocked.

Cheers!!
♥Pam♥

Easter mani- Hippity Hop

Hello!! Gosh it's been a long time since I have managed an actual blog post! Today I am actually wearing a full mani, instead of the usual skittle fingers of swatches. I am so often in the polish lab, creating, testing and swatching, that it is next to impossible to wear a full mani for an entire day. However today, I was determined to wear Hippity Hop, for Easter.

This is Hippity Hop, over Essence colour and go, in A lovely Secret.

And just for fun, here is a pic of Into the Night, in the making.

Now that all the orders from the last sale have been shipped, (with the exception of a few stragglers that are on hold for the arrival of the glitter for Stormy Skies, and a few orders for which payment just came in) I am furiously mixing and bottling for the next sale. I had hoped to be able to have everything ready to go for the end of April, but as some of you may know, there is a back order on lacquer base, do that will likely be delayed for a week or two, depending on when my order arrives.

With a better understanding of the amount of orders that will come in during a sale, I have made a few changes in the way orders will  be handled.
For one thing, I am setting up a website, with a shopping cart so ordering will be easier for both you and I.
I will also have all of the product filled and ready to go, rather than trying to produce and ship at the same time. I will set up a simpler shipping cost structure, so that you will know exactly what your shipping will be, based on the number of bottles ordered. International orders may still have to be quoted for shipping.

When everything is set up and ready to go, I will post here with ordering info, and how to access the new store, as well as links to other sites that they will be available on.

Thank you all again, for your kindness, support and patience. This has been a wonderful experience, and I look forward to the next sale.

Cheers!!
